The building already pays its own way. Donations do the two things rent cannot: put books and tuition within reach of the residents, and build the reserve that lets us add units.
Scholarship Fund
Book grants and tuition grants for current residents, awarded by the board under a written selection policy. Every dollar given here is spent on a resident's education.
Housing Reserve Fund
Capital held for the acquisition and development of additional affordable units for CSULB students and alumni. Gifts here are not spent on operations; they are held until a property is acquired or built.

What we report
